About CASA

CASA Mental Health is an established non-profit organization delivering holistic, culturally-safe wrap-around mental health services to Albertans and their families. CASA provides mental health service to the missing middle – mental health treatment for diagnosed children and youth, in between prevention and promotion in primary and community care, and acute treatment in hospital.

CASA’s team of mental health professionals are trauma experts committed to delivering service in collaboration with community partners. This includes assessment and treatment for up to 4,000 children, youth and their families each year, from community outreach settings to intensive treatment programs.

About the Role

CASA is looking for an experienced Project Manager to assist in managing our Thrive grant project! This project deals with multiple facets of the organization including the expansion of CASA Classrooms, the development of child and adolescent mental health pathways, and the expansion of several of CASA’s existing programs. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience managing complex projects and have advanced project management and stakeholder engagement skills.


The Project Manager will:

  • Coordinate and oversee the progression of the Thrive grant.
  • Work with project teams to advance project initiatives.
  • Maintain project plans, budgets and communications and reporting tools.
  • Establish clear communication processes.
  • Collaborate with the Communications and Human Resources teams to support activities.
  • Liaise with other CASA departments as required.
  • Develop and implement processes and systems as needed.
  • Develop relationships with government, school divisions and mental health organizations to foster collaboration and advance grant activities.
  • Liaise with stakeholders in each zone to facilitate the expansion of the CASA Classrooms.
  • Act as the key contact for stakeholders and other inquiries.

Status: Temporary (to approximately December 2025)

Multi-site: Yes
Minimum Salary: $82,000
Maximum Salary: $124,000
Hours per shift: 7.25
Shifts per week: Five
Days off: Saturday/Sunday

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field (e.g., a health profession, business administration).
  • Minimum eight years of experience managing complex projects in a service-based field. Experience in a mental health or health-related field is an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and stakeholder relations.
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational and coordination skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize facilitation methods to develop consensus within a group of stakeholders with varying backgrounds and expertise.
  • Skill in asking the right questions to address the fundamental drivers of a situation.
  • Previous experience building and sustaining partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new or unexpected situations, flexibility in approach to interpersonal situations.
  • Demonstrated analytic and problem-solving ability.

  • A satisfactory Criminal Records Check. This would be the financial responsibility of the successful candidate.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or exemption on the basis of a protected legal ground.
