Lakeside Ford is currently accepting applications to join our service team! We are looking for Red Seal / Licensed Automotive Service Technicians and Apprentice Technicians who have:

A friendly and positive attitude, self-motivated and take pride in their work and work environment

Strong diagnostic ability

A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driver abstract

Ford experience is an asset but not a necessity

A strong customer service mentality

Diesel experience would be an asset but is not necessary

A fully equipped tool box. (We provide major shop equipment and most special tools)

Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure

Provide recommendations based on vehicle assessments as well as document all repairs clearly.

We offer:

Busy shop with no shift work. (Shifts are Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays)

Competitive pay plan ($27-57/hour flat rate including performance bonuses)

On-going paid training

2 Weeks paid vacation after the 1st year

We are located about 2 ½ hours north of Edmonton next to Slave Lake – an outdoor lover’s paradise! The area boasts awesome year-round fishing, hunting, quadding, snowmobiling and biking trails as well as the most beautiful stretch of white sand beaches in Alberta! The town itself offers an impressive selection of hotels, campgrounds, restaurants and family-friendly events and is a great place to live and raise a family!
