Customer Service & Administrative Assistant
If you're looking for a career in administration, customer service and logistics planning, this is the perfect part-time position for you. You'll enjoy working autonomously from home with guidance and direction provided daily over the phone by management. In-person meetings are also facilitated to build team rapport, along with touring of Kelowna wineries for product/service knowledge.

Required Skills:

- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with google docs, sheets, maps, calendar and gmail

Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of services offered and pricing
- Answering customer queries and providing information on products and services such as prices and deals
- Navigating any customer complaints and problems with assistance from management
- Processing bookings, notes and cancellations using booking management software
- Composing and sending invoices to customers
- Using email and online booking systems to make reservations, and creating agendas for tour guides
- Documenting customer interactions, and requests
- Available for regular phone communications daily, and guidance from management
Beneficial additional skills:
- Knowledge of the Okanagan area and it’s wineries, cideries, distilleries and breweries
- Experience with posting on social media
- Familiar with Facebook, and Instagram
- Confident creating professional engaging social captions, and using hashtags
- Experience generating content ideas
- Blog & Newsletter writing experience also beneficial

Candidates MUST possess:
- Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid long-term work permit
- Own workspace, smartphone camera, and computer (or can be provided as part of compensation package)
Remuneration & Benefits:
- Pay Rate has room for growth based on performance.
- Annual bonus payable based on sales execution, growth and maintenance of social followers.
- $50/month phone allowance
Work Schedule:
Part-time, flexible & dependent on business seasonality.
Work remotely from home on own schedule but speedy response to customer emails is required so flexibility to work on demand for most of the week is preferred.
Expect 20 - 40 hours per week February - October.
This position is best suited to someone looking for part-time seasonal work for 9 months of the year which peaks in spring and summer.
