Kelly Services is pleased to be recruiting a Data Analyst for our client in Edmonton, AB a leader in the oil & gas industry. This is a 12 months contract with a possibility of extension.

Main Functions:

· Responsible for importing, cleansing, validating and analyzing data with the purpose of understanding or drawing conclusions from the data.

· May consolidate and/or present data in charts, graphs, or tables. Focused on improving data quality.

· Works with moderate work direction and is skilled and knowledgeable to the position.

· Generally, has ability to work with other departments and management to determine organizational goals, pinpoint trends, correlations and patterns in complicated data sets.

· Report Analyst: Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for the business based on data from multiple sources including SAP, Data Lakes Local Network File Structure and Access Administrator

· Perform analysis of current LAN File Structure and Access model of Local and Global groups to make recommendations on the use of Universal groups

· Create new folder structures and accesses with the use universal groups using the corporate tools and standards

· Document the LAN file structure and access model with ability to translate the structure and benefits to a non technical audience.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Post-secondary education; preferred

· 1-3 years of data analyst experience

· Should have an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

· Proficient in MS Office Suite

· Tools: PowerBI and/or Tableau; SAP; T-SQL

· Proficient with SAP

· Excellent ability to multi-task and attention to detail

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
