Delivery Driver Job at Momentum Recruitment
Momentum Logistics is looking for expereinced cargo/sprinter drivers who are hardworking and reliable. The selected candidate will be expected to work 8 to 12 hours a day from Monday to Friday. Punctuality and reliability is of utmost importance for this role.
Yard location: Pontypool, ON
Workdays: Monday to Friday No Weekends
Shift Start time: approximately 6:30AM to 7:30AM and work 8 to 12 hour shift
What you will do:
- Drive Sprinter vehicle to deliver freights to assigned stops
- Deliver freights in good condition and within scheduled time (40+ deliveries daily average)
- Load and Unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a dolley and or pallet truck (lift up to 70lbs)
- Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
- Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection
- Report on all safety hazards and accidents
- Use a cellular phone to communicate with dispatch ie. truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answer calls, texts etc.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
- Additional duties as required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $21.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
