To support its growth and expansion, SSM is looking to add an Engineer to the team.

Reporting to the Applications Team Lead, this position is responsible for the quotation and initial design application of custom HVAC air handlers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creation of Budgets, Quotations, Application Drawings including:

• Reading and analyzing specifications in order to determine the price structure of a project.
• Generating costs for the product using proprietary software.
• Engineering selections of components to meet the intent of the specifications.
• Developing quotation documents.
• Participating in customer and vendor visits.
• Creating drawing packages using AutoCAD and IronCAD.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Engineering degree or diploma with eligibility or membership in APEGA or ASET.
• Strong proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities.
• Keen attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in problem solving and critical decision making.
