BMI Ltd. is based in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia and we are currently hiring multiple trades including, Journeyperson and Apprentice Welder | Fabricators

Job description

What Skills do you need to be Successful in this Role?

· Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering, and shop drawings

· Experience working with welding processes | SMAW, GMAW and GTAW

· Operating oxy fuel, plasma cutting equipment

· Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

· Being part of a team, communicating and interacting the others

What Qualifications are Required?

· General welding and basic trade skills

· CWB and WHMIS certification considered an asset

What are the Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities required?

· Indoor Industrial Environment

· Work under pressure

· Bending, crouching, kneeling

· Attention to detail

· Handling weight up to 50lbs occasional

What is the Work Schedule and Salary Rate?

• Full-time, Permanent
• Monday to Friday, day shift, occasional weekend, and overtime work
• Salary: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Transportation?

· Own vehicle

· Willing to travel

· Valid driver’s license
