RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Construct, install and repair heavy haul trucks, diesel engines, hydraulics, cranes, trailers, jeeps, boosters, etc.
• Diagnose equipment/truck problems and determine repairs as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
• Maintain records of all work tasks and work orders
• Support and encourage continuous improvement
• Check equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Accurate completion of work orders and time sheets
• Required to possess yout own tools and toolbox
• Drive and maintain a brand new company service truck

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, WORK EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

• Requires a journeyman certificate
• Clean drivers abstract
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements including drug and alcohol testing
• CVIP would be an asset but is not required
• Minimum 2 years of experience working on a pipeline or similar experience
• Ability to relocate or maintain a residence in Valmount, BC; accommodation or LOA can be provided
