Arch Staffing & Consulting has partnered with one of the world's leading manufacturer of machines and systems for the wood-processing industry. As a global player, they have a strong network of production sites in virtually all regions across the globe. We are currently recruiting for 2 Field Service Technicians to join their team on a permanent basis.

What a day would typically look like:

• Mechanical Installation and commissioning of a wide range of Equipment, including CNC processing equipment, computerized control systems and software
• Providing training in the safe operation and Software programming of Equipment
• Identify and correct Equipment failures, Operational and programming Errors or programming problems
• Advise on proper use regarding applications, operation and maintenance of machines
• Assist customer to achieve optimum efficiency and machine reliability
• Commissioning of Bus-, Axis and drive systems
• After Sales Service such as Error diagnostic, repairs, maintenance and Inspections on Customer's equipment

What you will require to succeed in this role:

• College degree in Automation
• Valid Passport
• Mechanical, electrical/electronic experience and training - Journeyman ticket would be a definite asset
• Pneumatic control experience
• Strong Customer Service
• Experience working with 440V high voltage equipment
• Experience with PLC/CNC controlled machinery
• Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word and Windows O/S
• Excellent English communication skills verbal and in writing
• Excellent Problem solving skills
• Independent and professional work ethic, flexible, bondable, highly motivated and detail oriented
• Willingness to travel, national and international
• Have a vehicle to travel around the province
• Own credit card for expenses, safety boots and PPE

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
