Responsibilities:

• Track and analyze profitability for manufacturing plant, identify room for improvement
• Analyze product costs, identify root cause for variance, work closely with operation team to improve efficiency
• Follow up and monitor new project / product costing and set up / improve cost control
• Establish business procedures and ensure business policies being followed
• Review and analyze daily reports to ensure completeness and data accuracy
• Consolidate financial statements to meet external reporting requirements
• Oversee SAP transactions to make appropriate production costing corrections and SAP production order closing
• Monitor the monthly accounting entries, validate monthly accrual entries and process
• Identify and communicate potential opportunities and risks in the monthly financial statement
• Work with accounting team to liaise with external auditor for interim and annual audit
• Other ad hoc projects/analysis/tasks as assigned

Successful criteria:

• Designated Accountant with experience with SAP (FI/CO) manufacturing costing experience
• Understanding BOM/Routing and other MM/PP data, analyze actual material issue & consumption, labor hours, machine hours, output on production orders
• Understanding product costing, various dimension of profitability analysis, and effective sales quotation process in SAP environment
• Advanced business intelligence analysis modeling skills in Excel
• Self-starter, self-motivated with proactive, and process ownership focus
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to providing a high standard of quality work
• Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
