Leadbetter Foods is currently seeking Full-Time Permanent General Laborer's who are looking for a great job with great growth potential. We are looking for our day shift 6:30am - 2:30pm.

Summary:

This a refrigerated environment, must be able to work in a chilled environment.

Ensure that products are produced and packaged in accordance with each product specification sheet. Handle all products and materials in accordance with the Food Safety and Quality programs to ensure safe quality products are produced according to the regulations of the OHSA and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Ensure products, ingredients and packaging are handled in a manner to prevent contamination; following GMPs

· Produce and package product in accordance with specifications provided

· Perform production tasks as directed by Supervisor / Lead Hand metal detection

· Complete checks and subsequent documentation if required, in accordance with training provided

· Work in accordance with the SOPs from the Food Safety and Quality Programs in which training has been provided

· Report any issues to the Supervisor or QA

· Responsible for Health and Safety of all employees in the Plant

· Perform other duties in the Plant as required

Education, Skills and Experience Required:

· High school graduate or equivalent experience

· Be able to work in a cold environment and stand for extended periods of time

· Highly motivated, team oriented and able to work independently

· Adaptable and flexible

· Extensive training is provided
