Norstar prides itself in providing a market-leading product that is exceptional on every level. To do this, we need an exceptional team. We are currently seeking to hire a reliable General Labourer for our Pre-Fabrication department to assist at our Laser.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Thursday - 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (4-10 hour shifts)

Responsibilities of the Job:

The General Labourer will be apart of our Pre-Fab department and will be stationed at the Laser Machine:

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with the unloading of the laser table
• Sorting and Matching material and cut pieces to Work Orders
• Entering updates to Work Orders in computer system
• other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a Manufacturing environment or similar role would be an asset
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools is an asset
• Eager to learn and coachable
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in fast pace environments
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and lift items above shoulder level is required
• Steel toed shoes are mandatory for the shop floor
• Ability and willingness to work overtime if required
