General Labourers needed immediately in Oakville
$23/hr
Monday to Friday, Day Shift (6:30am to 3:30pm)
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload waste vehicles including Hydrovac, vacuum trucks, tankers, straight trucks and van trailers
- Take samples from waste vehicles and containers for lab analysis
- Operate plant machinery and assist with general maintenance
- Safely operate equipment (power washer, cleaning tools, digging equipment, etc...)
- Lifting up to 50 lbs and working mainly outdoors
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- No experience necessary, willing to train
- Valid G license with clean driver's abstract
- Previous experience in hazaroudous, non-hazardous waste management is an asset
- Previous experience operating air diaphragm pumps and bulk liquid transfer systems is an asset
- Prior propane forklift experience/certification is an asset
- Must be comfortable working in a mostly outdoor environment
