MTY Group is looking for a Graphic Designer to be part of our internal Creative & Graphic Design Team. The graphic designer will be responsible for the creations of multi-channel marketing designs for our QSR brands and will be reporting to the head of the QSR Media Solutions Department to produce compelling, visual solutions that drive our key marketing objectives forward.

Responsibilities & duties:

• Support the Marketing Departments by creating designs as requested
• Design a variety of print materials including but not limited to menus, posters, signs, flyers, coupons, packaging design, brochures, sell sheets, signage, trades how displays, vehicle graphics and advertisements
• Produce a range of digital assets including but not limited to digital menu screens, website assets/graphics, ad banners, infographics, email blasts, presentation decks, social media sponsored posts, and other digital assets
• Assist other designers with tasks if needed
• Uphold a strong and cohesive visual identity across all channels for each of our Brands

Skills and Experience

• Degree or diploma in graphic arts, design, communications or related fields
• 3-5 years experience as a graphic designer
• Excellent working knowledge of graphic design fundamentals (layout & typography) and communications for print and online.
• Extensive experience in Adobe Cloud software mainly but not limited to InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator in a Mac based environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 apps mainly but not limited to Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Planner and Teams
• Critical thinking mindset and keen attention to detail
• Ability to work cross-functionally and build working relationships through collaboration, influence and negotiation to successfully accomplish a task
• Strong project management and organizational skills with proven problem-solving abilities
• Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple projects.
• Ability to mentor Junior Designers
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and WordPress considered an asset.
• Experience in photography, animation and videography considered an asset.
• Bilingual in English and French both spoken and written considered an asset.
