Job Description:

Reporting to the Supervisor – Mine Operations, the Truck Operator is responsible for their safety and the safety of their co-workers while hauling and dumping ore and waste material from development and production sources. As this is a start-up position, the successful candidate may also be required to assist with other mine related services as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Truck to meet daily plan and operation targets
• Effective communication using a 2-way radio system
• Maintain equipment integrity and complete job hazard analysis reports and equipment logbooks.
• Always protect the safety and well-being of yourself and your co-workers. Follow all Company specific safety protocols and Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures.

What you need:

• Surface Common Core - Production Haulage Truck Module
• Prior Haul Truck experience, 3-5 years preferred
• Able to operate various sizes Haul Trucks in a safe and efficient manner
• Physically fit, able to perform repeat tasks for long hours and possibly work in extreme conditions
