Heavy Duty Mechanic sought for Innisfail, AB Training Site to ensure continuous operation of our fleet year-round. Our goal is to provide our students learning heavy equipment operation with ready-to-go machines, daily. Your key focus will be on preventative maintenance, routine maintenance as well as any urgent repairs if/when required. Must haves (minimum requirements):

• AB or Interprovincial Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification, and a minimum of at least 5 years work experience around heavy equipment
• Welding certification/experience and/or HVAC experience/knowledge will give you a substantial advantage
• Repair & Maintain fleet of industrial size equipment (i.e. excavators, loaders, rock trucks, grader, dozer, and backhoes etc.)
• Work with minimal supervision, take initiative and exhibit proactive communication with peers on site and management oversight
• Be fit and able to tolerate the physical demands of the job including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Exhibit a positive, professional and energized attitude
• Must have own tools.
