The Position

E1 Electrical is seeking journeyperson and apprentice electricians to fulfill full-time positions. Commercial experience is an asset. We are a safety-oriented shop and offer competitive wages and benefits. Reliable transportation is a must.

Journeyperson job description:

• Demonstrate experience in a leadership role on commercial projects
• Organise tasks, determine material needs, and manage time, for themselves and apprentices/workers.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors and other trades.
• Complete site paperwork timely and legibly.

Apprentice job description:

• Follow the direction of their supervisor/journeyperson.
• Complete tasks given to them in a timely manner.
• Plan and execute electrical installations under the supervision of a journeyperson.
• Adhere to all company safety guidelines.
• Get to and from work on their own.

Assets (Journeyperson and Apprentices)

• Well rounded experience in commercial electrical installations
• Comfortable with reading and interpreting drawings
• WHMIS and/or CSTS Training
• First aid training
• Fall Arrest and Aerial Work Platform training/certification
• Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills

Qualifications/Requirements

• Must have drivers license and own reliable transportation
• Must have personal hand tools and basic power tools (ie cordless drill)
• Must be able to commute daily within the Calgary area

Compensation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.50-$37.00 per hour

Salary: $39.00 per hour
