Horticulturist/ landscape Gardner Job at St. Thomas Golf and Country Club
Position Summary – Under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent design, maintain and care for the landscaped areas of the golf course.
The selected candidate will have the flexibility to create their own schedule. This could be a part time job or could be paired with additional grounds maintenance duties to provide full time hours.
Typical Duties Include:
✓ Design, ordering and planting of annual flowers.
✓ Pruning, trimming and care of perennial plants
✓ Mulching, watering, and weeding of all beds.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
✓ Willingness to learn and continually strive for improvement.
✓ Knowledge of plant health requirements and growth characteristics
✓ Ability to get along with others.
Wage
✓ 100% negotiable based on desired work schedule.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6-8 months
Part-time hours: 5-40 per week
Salary: $16.00-$25.00 per hour
