This role works closely with and reports directly to the VP of the company in this open and accepting culture. Having a love of sports is a must, and you will get to help plan (from a financial perspective) and attend some amazing events!

Being a Designated CPA, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing monthly financial statements
• Developing, implementing and or managing financial policies relating to purchasing, payroll, and cash receipts as required.
• Supervising event ticketing settlements and reconciliations with internally and externally owned parties.
• Supervising purchasing, accounts receivable, accounts payable transactions and ensuring compliance to all policies and procedures.
• Working with the Executive team on new business initiatives, strategic planning, and policy matters to support the finance department.
• Manage a growing team of bookkeepers to ensure that all financial policies and procedures are always overseen and adhered to.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring

• Designated CPA
• 4 years or more of mid to Senior level accounting experience
• Love of sports
• QuickBooks online is considered an asset
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
• Desire to stay long term and grow within the company. Potential to move to a CFO role in as little as 5 years based on company growth!
