Currently, we are assisting our client in Brantford, ON with their search for a skilled and professional Income Tax Preparer! This is a full-time temporary to permanent position for the successful candidate. They will be motivated, eager to learn and goal driven. Candidates must have previous experience preferred.

Job Desciption and Responsiblities:

• Work closely with customers on T1 Personal Tax returns
• Corroborate with other staff to complete more extensive tax returns
• Have experience reviewing incomplete statesmnts, expense receipts and previous tax returns

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of Canadian Tax forms and laws
• Reconciling bank and cc accounts
• Canadian government Remittance
• Preparation of T1 Personal and sole Proprietors, partnership forms
• Preparation of T2 Corporate tax would be an asset

Requirements:

• Must display exceptional attention to detail
• Possess excellent written and verbal communications
• Be dependable with a good work ethic
• Have the ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress
• Quickbooks (desktop and online)
• MS Office
• Simply Accounting
• Scheduling Software
• Must have 1 year experience in a tax environment
• Diploma or defree in accounting or business

Hourly wage: Starting at $20
