Randstad is currently hiring individuals for various industrial facility cleaner positions for our manufacturing client in the Granton, NS.

This opportunity provides a foot in the door to work towards a career with global leading manufacturing company right here in Granton NS.

The Industrial Cleaning position will require the successful candidate, but are not limited to, be able to work in a team setting and individual basis. Sweeping, mopping, taking out garbages, cleaning industrial machines, oil spills, etc.

The shift cleaner will be responsible for cleaning chemicals out of machines, to ensure no cross contamination of chemicals and ensuring the facility remains safe.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for the day-to-day operations of the facility
• Operating various machinery including genie booms and forklifts (depending on position)
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Other general labour duties assigned as needed

Qualifications

• Comfortable in an industrial environment; general labour or industrial cleaning experience considered an asset
• You are comfortable meeting very high quality and safety standards
• You work well as a team member
• You are reliable and have reliable transportation
• You are comfortable working Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or with 12 hour rotational shifts (depending on the position) with experience in Industrial Cleaning
