This role is scheduled to work Wednesday through Sunday on day shift.

The Industrial Millwright performs mechanical maintenance repair & troubleshooting on the manufacturing equipment, specific, but not limited to, processing and packaging activities. This position requires commitment to keep up to date with industry developments and have a methodical approach to work.

This role requires a 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright.

The role:

• Read and apply diagrams and schematic drawings of various types of machinery and equipment
• Assemble machinery prior to installation
• Troubleshoot industrial machinery, mechanical equipment and integrated production lines under PLC controlAnalyze test results, error messages, and operator-supplied information to diagnose equipment problems
• Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair and/or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipmentClean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery
• Cut and weld metal to repair broken parts or fabricate new partsReassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs
• Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairsRecord repairs and maintenance performed
• Record parts and materials used, and order or requisition new parts and materials as necessary
• Operate machine tools as needed
• Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators
• Enter codes and instructions to program computer-controlled machinery

You offer:

• Must be a 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Food manufacturing industry experience
• Able to read, write and speak English
• A member in good standing of a recognized trade association
• Able to lift loads up to 25 Kg (55lbs)
• Possess a current driver’s license
• Certified to operate a fork lift truck
• First aid certificate or training
• Able to work afternoon shift
• Able to work on call and/or weekends (as necessary)
• GMP and HACCP training
