Position Details

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Claims Manager, Insurance Operations Specialist will drive the following:

  • Develop, Implement and Maintain Workflows, Policies and Procedures for all Business Processes in all business units within Insurance Distribution and claims (P&C and Travel)
  • Provide Business Advisory and Project Management services in a Consulting environment on strategies, initiatives, tactics, targets, and goals
  • Develop and Maintain Business Intelligence and Analytics through interactive reports relative to the Insurance Distribution & claims channels and liaison with all internal partners as required
  • Develop and execute stakeholder and front-line communication strategy across the insurance distribution and claims channels

What You Have

  • Post-secondary education
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in a role involving process improvement, project management, or leadership
  • Knowledge of Insurance is a necessity
  • CIP and/or OTL license is a strong asset along with previous Call Centre Management experience is preferred
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work on several projects concurrently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • High level of attention to detail
