Purpose of the Role:

To perform maintenance and construction duties as a fixed plant mechanic (Milwright) within the Mill Maintenance team. To safely perform scheduled and unscheduled tasks to optimize equipment availability, and the Mill Maintenance team's performance.

We are seeking an individual for a Fly In, Fly Out opportunity working on a two weeks in, two weeks out rotation.

Accountabilities:

• Repair, adjust, maintain and improve stationary equipment in a 30,000 ton per day crusher plant and concentrator
• Fitting, welding, cutting
• Follow OHS, Mines Act and Red Chris Policies and Procedures
• Able to work outdoors in severe conditions
• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Able to work day or night shift as required
• Provide mentorship and assist training of apprentices
• Champion safe work practices
• Assist other trades as required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Interprovincial Red Seal Millwright
• Valid Class 5 driver's license required
• Overhead crane, Aerial Work Platform (AWP), Rigging certificates an asset
• Welding certificates an asset
• Equipment Operator certificate an asset
• Pipe fusing ticket an asset
• Extensive experience with pumps, conveyors, mills, piping and welding in a mining environment
• Experience with Gyratory Crushers
• Experience living and working in remote camp environment
• A team player that works well with others
• Strong oral and written communication skills
