About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated Jr. Full Stack Developer / DevOps. The successful candidate will report to the Team Lead. As a Junior Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications and services.

What will you do?

DevOps Responsibilities:

• Maintain server uptime and performance through NewRelic or by other means
• Manage deployments via GIT for development or production environments
• Develop and provide support for backend application architecture
• Migrate, Restore, and Back up SQL Databases
• Create tickets and call vendors when necessary
• Transfer and copy data from server to server
• Securing development and/or production systems with firewalls and security updates
• Update database records as needed
• Create credentials for internal and external personnel
• Create documentation that is clear and easy to understand

Full Stack Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our development team to develop new and existing features for our web applications and services
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of our web applications and services
• Create documentation that is clear and easy to understand
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and industry trends

What Qualifications do you need to succeed?

• 2-3 years of work experience in development operations
• Experience with managing at least one relational database (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Experience with managing Git and version control systems
• Experience with maintaining Linux distributions such as Ubuntu
• Good understanding of PHP Programming Language
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework or library (such as JQuery, Vue.js, React)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Familiarity with other new technologies such as NodeJs

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
