We are looking for a Part-time Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. You will be responsible for accounts payable and other general accounting and administrative duties. An ideal candidate would be a recent graduate willing to learn and develop with a growing company.

The Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable
- Analyze and process all accounts payable invoices utilizing 3-way match system in Netsuite
- Communicate with suppliers and reconcile accounts
- Process weekly cheque runs
- Manage credit card and employee expense reports
- Create, send invoices and manage collections
- Bank deposit runs Others:
- Manage capital assets and new store buildout worksheets
- Assist with monthly reports and month end closes
- Review and analyze expenses
- Perform filing and general administrative tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 1-3 years related experience, preferably in retail accounting
- Strong excel skills
- Experience with Netsuite and retail accounting is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail oriented and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Completion or enrolled in a post-secondary accounting program
- Experience or knowledge in the retail apparel and footwear industry is considered an asset
