Kitchen Design Associate Job at RONA Salmon Arm
There is a career opportunity available at RONA Salmon Arm- Store #2930 in the Kitchen department. Reporting to the Management team, the Kitchen Designer provides exceptional service to RONA customers by developing and preparing engineered cabinet designs and drawings for customers’ projects. The Kitchen Designer is knowledgeable with preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data on Kitchen & Bath Design.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Act in accordance to the current RONA policies and procedures
· Provide and encourage RONA Values in all decisions and actions
· Increase sales and margin by offering add-on and complementary products; strive to achieve monthly sales goals and budgets
· Guide customers through their projects; determine customer needs, coordinate the purchase of merchandise, choose appropriate installation services and communicate all necessary information to customers, installers and team members involved
· Respond to customer concerns in an appropriate manner to ensure customer satisfaction
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Experience in customer service-focused roles
· Excellent listening, communication & interpersonal skills
· Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
· Ability to work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate flexibility
· Time management and problem solving skills; ability to follow up and track multiple projects
· Proficient computer skills
· Experience with 20/20 or Computer Aided Design software an asset
