We have some new exciting projects starting soon so we are looking for more Landscape Gardeners preferably with experience in all aspects of plant installation and garden maintenance. The work is focused solely between North Vancouver and West Vancouver. We work in all weathers so appropriate rain gear is advised.

*Please bear in mind the work location when considering this role.

You will be working closely with a small team with the opportunity to work on some interesting gardens and new planting installations. A good basic knowledge of horticulture and experience within the industry is desired but not essential. An ability to learn and develop is vital. You will need to be good at communicating and enjoy being part of a close knit team, whilst being able to show initiative.

The role and responsibilities but not limited to:

• Weeding and seasonal pruning and planting.
• Hedge cutting, Trimming & Blowing
• Lawn mowing and border edging.
• Planting of annuals and bulbs.
• Ensure all tools, materials and plants are taken to site when required.
• Assist in day-today maintenance
• Ensure that the vehicles are kept clean and tidy with necessary tools.
• Clean up & Green waste removal
• Be punctual.
• Look tidy.
• Wear the correct clothing.
• Reliable & flexible.

Candidate requirements:

• Good horticultural knowledge
• To be highly organized and efficient time management.
• A desire to develop and learn.
• A Full BC drivers licence.

The role is a full time position and exact start/finish hours of work and pay can be discussed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 to $28.00 /hour

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
