We are seeking a Leasing Agent for a multi-family residential properties located in Saskatoon. If you are charismatic and highly motivated and are looking for a new opportunity with a professional, dynamic, and growing company - this may be the role for you.

Job Objective:

This position will present and lease apartment suites and achieve high levels of occupancy for the project. This position will focus on securing current leases, and enhancing marketing as well as customer service.

To manage confidential information (written and oral) with discretion and care. To perform all responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with the Company’s values and beliefs.

Responsibilities:

  • Immediately follow up on any leasing inquiries within 12 hours of receiving communication.
  • Schedule viewings and efficiently manage booking times.
  • Generate interest in our apartment buildings by touring the property with prospects, presenting amenities in a positive light, and answering any questions they may ask.
  • Assist prospective tenants in qualifying for an apartment by collecting appropriate information.
  • Ensure correct completion of all lease applications, assist with application verification, and notify prospective resident of results in a timely manner.
  • Ensure apartments are prepared for move-in.
  • Communicate any property maintenance requests to the property maintenance team.
  • Stay informed and aware of rents, specials and events promoted by competitors.
  • Provide information on all aspects of the properties including community and area amenities.
  • Verify and be knowledgeable of various media and promotional online and physical copy advertisements.
  • Determine the needs and economic viability of prospective customers.
  • Complete weekly lead tracking, occupancy and marketing reporting as directed.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as a Leasing Specialist.
  • Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices.
  • Ability to sell and close with a track record of successful sales.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills. Demonstrated in written and verbal reports, presentations, and meeting facilitation.
  • Strong people and customer service skills. A team player with a proven ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Responsiveness. Ability to anticipate needs and commit to respond in agreed time frames.
  • Deliver on commitments. Ability to set clear objectives and deliverable goals.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask. An organized self-starter with exceptional time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Reliable Transportation. This position may require you to attend multiple sites in a day.
  • Excellent computer and software skills.
