We have an amazing opportunity for Experienced Infant Toddler/ECEs in the field! We are looking to fill 2 incredible Educator positions in our Award Winning Reggio-Inspired Nature Daycare. Our incredible team of educators are leading the way through collaboration, discussion, and practice. Firmly planted in the Reggio-Emilia natural environment, together we have created a beautiful working environment in our 4-acre forest. Nestled in the trees, our outdoor program inspires children and educators to learn from the third teacher. We even have outdoor, year-round napping and we have built special outdoor buildings to accommodate this philosophy! "How would you like to spend your days at work? In the forest? Amongst the trees? In Nature?"..... it's pretty awesome!

We are hoping to attract educators who love being outdoors in nature all year round and who are striving to further their education and careers. We want you to learn and grow alongside the children!

We are happy to accommodate educators who may want part-time one to two days a week. We acknowledge that educators returning to the workplace often have young families at home therefore we may be able to accommodate your young child to be at work with you! We are working VERY hard to provide this work/life balance here at Little Bears! If you have an Infant/Toddler we may have the right position for you!

This is a permanent position. We are expanding our program and potentially building another nature-based, outdoor centre on-site! Potential candidates MUST love being outdoors in all weather, and have experience as an ECE or IT, and LOVE working as a team player.

We offer a VERY competitive wage based on your experiences, credentials, and your on-site interview. The $4.00 an hour Wage Enhancement (WE) is added to each paycheque so you receive your complete wage every cheque.

We offer a full benefit (medical/Dental) after the probation period. (for educators working 30 hours or more)

We offer (3 paid) Professional Development days of on-site training (based in Reggio-philosophy) Acquired yearly sick days, (now 5) ,a fantastic uniform of t-shirts and hoodies, on-site free parking, first dibs on a space for your child, and an incredible team of Inspiring ECE's who LOVE what they do! PLUS: We are also receiving the $10 Dollar a Day Pilot project from the Government.
