Osler Bluff Ski Club is looking for friendly, enthusiastic, dependable individuals with great customer service skill to fill the positions of Lift Operator. These are day shifts only.

You will warmly greet our members and guests while ensuring their safety on the lifts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist members and guests, of all ski levels, with loading and unloading the lifts.
• Assist other team members with daily maintenance of lift mazes, loading/unloading platforms and the set up/take down of mazes, gates and signage.
• Provide courteous, friendly and professional direction when needed.
• Deal with complaints in a pleasant manner and know when to call for a supervisor and/or manager for assistance.
• Report incidents in a timely manner to ensure proper paperwork is completed.
• Work well within the team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• General knowledge of the ski industry would be an asset but we will train.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Strong judgement skills.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Must be physically able to push and pull and to shovel snow.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work outside, in all weather types including extreme weather.
