Advantage Tutors is a small business in Toronto, ON. We provide 1-1 evidence-based support for students who learn differently. Our mission is to allow every child the opportunity to read.
Advantage Tutors is looking to hire engaging and enthusiastic tutors who are passionate about teaching. If you are looking for a part-time job that is rewarding, has great hourly rates & flexibility, this job may be right for you.
The ideal candidate should be a patient and empathetic person who is able to teach students of all ages, as well as make lesson plans and track student progress. The successful candidate for this position will be able to develop lesson plans that are both creative and engaging, and should enjoy interacting with children.
A travel bonus will be given to tutors willing to travel to students' homes for in-person support.
Job requirements:
Experience teaching remedial programs: Direct Instruction, Orton-Gillingham, Phono-Graphix, Lindamood-Bell, IMSE is required
Proof of up-to-date COVID-19 Vaccinations is also required

Salary: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
