Established principally in Southern Ontario, Canada, St. Marys CBM is the building materials division of St. Marys Cement. We have more than 450 Ready-Mix trucks operating out of 40 plants; located in areas from Hull, Quebec (serving the National Capital Region) in the east, and spread 700 kilometres to Windsor, Ontario in the west, with an emphasis on the most heavily populated areas of the province.

CBM is looking for a Loader Operator & Yardman to work out of our New Hamburg location. The Loader/Yard Operator is responsible for a variety of daily tasks that support the efficient operation of the Ready-Mix facility. The Loader/Yard Operator is a generalist who is responsible for a range of duties including:

• Running and monitoring (including boiler tests) the boiler system in cold months,
• Forming and stripping of returned concrete blocks,
• Yard housekeeping / snow removal
• Receiving and inspection of aggregates,
• Plant Inspections,
• In yard concrete testing,
• Daily fuel dip/measurement,
• Minor plant maintenance, grease and lube equipment as required
• Maintaining the washout pit and drying bay
• Operating the loader
• Cleaning and shoveling under belts
• Other duties as assigned

Experience & Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Ontario's G-Class Driver Licence;
• OSSGD or equivalent;
• Passing Grade on Mechanical Aptitude Test, Math Skills Test and Literacy Test;
• Prior experience operating mobile material handling equipment (the successful candidate must become certified to operate the Loader within a reasonable period of time following the awarding of the position).
