WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU:

· Position-related safety tickets (H2S Alive, Standard First Aid w/CPR, CSO, Fall Arrest)

· Full class 5 license (non-GDL) or higher Driver’s License, air brakes an asset

· Current Drivers’ Abstract

· Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing and be fit for duty

· Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly in a day

· Ability to work long hours in all types of inclement weather conditions

· Willing to work locally or out of town

· Fluent Verbal English Skills, due to safety

· Safety orientated with a positive CAN-DO Attitude

· Previous labor and/or oilfield experience an asset

· Mechanically inclined

· A team player, with the ability to build excellent working relationships

· Ability to mentor and lead a team

· Ability to handle stress and maintain composure under pressure effectively and calmly

· Reliable with a strong commitment to safety

· Attentive with excellent listening skills

· Ability to process directions and respond or react quickly

· Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and ensure task completion without supervision

· Able to effectively deal with a challenging and busy work environment

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· At CWC Energy Services, the Floorhand position is deemed to be a “Safety Sensitive” position due to its proximity of heavy industrial machinery. The Floorhand is responsible for organizing, cleaning, and maintaining equipment, assisting with rigging up of pump, pump lines and accumulator lines, tripping pipe in/out of hole while guiding pipe on/off platform, accurately monitoring, and maintaining well control characteristics, and assisting with rig moves by rigging up and rigging out as well as assisting with the transport of rig equipment. The Floorhand is responsible for the manipulation of the section of pipe or drill stem and the rig floor during drilling, and it is the Floorhands duty to remove and replace strings of pipe or drill stem and/or drill bit.

· The Derrickhand position is also deemed to be a “Safety Sensitive” position due to the proximity of heavy industrial machinery. A Derrickhand handles the uppermost section of the drilling string as it is brought from or lowered into the wellbore or drill hole. A Derrickhand is responsible for the conditioning of the drilling fluid and the circulation machinery and oversees some of the machinery on the rig. The Derrickhand spends approximately 25% of his time up the rigs derrick and plays the lead role in stacking and guiding pipe as it is tripped in and out or reconnected into the hole. The position requires monitoring circulation and most importantly, good communication with the Driller and the Rig Manager.

ADDITIONAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Crews are considered mobile, so each member will drive/transport the rig and equipment from location to location
- Some experience working at heights with the use of special fall restraint equipment
- Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment
- Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
- Ensure safety for all team members and property
- Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
- Support equipment maintenance.
- Haul hoses, personal protective equipment, and tools to where the work is being done
- Assist on rig floor tripping pipe, and house keeping
- Following and enforcing all directions received

· Leave the job site in better condition that when you got there

- Understanding job scope potential hazards, rules, and regulations

Previous experience as a carpenter, general laborer, roofer, landscaper, heavy equipment operator, construction, pipefitting, oil and gas, energy services, drilling rig, mining, rig, oilfield, diamond drilling, directional drilling, oil&gas, oil & gas, leasehand, motorhand, etc.
