Master Packaging Inc., the leader of corrugate and folding carton packaging, located in Borden-Carleton, Prince Edward Island is currently seeking self-motivated and energetic individuals who are interested in joining our team in the role of Machine Operator.

Starting Hourly Rate: $19.76 to $22.09 / + $2 Night Shift / Time and a Half Sunday Premium

Rotation: 4 on, 4 off (8 Day Rotation)

Shift: 2 Day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) followed by 2 Night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)

Must be multi tasked, result oriented, team player and most importantly willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities:

As a member of a highly energetic and goal oriented team, you will be mainly responsible for the following:

• Ensure that a good quality product is produced and maintained by adhering to recognized procedures
• Perform make ready's on the machine within the established SOP time frame
• General equipment maintenance; adjusting as necessary
• Follow Housekeeping, Safety and HACCP procedures and policies
• Perform and completely document quality checks to specified standards
• Communicate with the incoming shift
• Inputting data accurately into the Radius system; completion of production reports
• Keep the machine running and rotate through breaks whenever possible
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have

• 2-3 years' experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment
• Post-secondary education in electro-mechanical preferred
• Goal oriented & multi tasked individual
• Excellent team player with a positive attitude & good work ethic
• Excellent leadership skills & ability to delegate tasks effectively
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to take part in any training provided
