The Machinist is responsible for precision machining of multiple parts for Wexxar Bel product lines (IPAK, Wexxar, Belcor) using old and new CNC machines. In this role you will…
- Efficiently utilize all machinery in the machine shop area
- Troubleshoot and initiate engineering changes
- Manufacture any part per released drawings
- Set up parts on machine shop equipment
- Train other machine shop personnel when required
Who we’re looking for?
- Red Seal Machinist or equivalent
- 5 years working experience in a machine shop environment with CNC machine experience
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to use mechanical hand tools, handheld power tools and mechanical measuring tools
- Ability to operate manual machine shop equipment
- Ability to enter shop order data into ERP system
- Good training and guiding skills for new machinist in the set-up and production of all parts
- Knowledge of CNC programming
