Bradford Facility For Millwright

The candidate will be tasked troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues. In addition you will also work on new equipment installs and tear-down/re-build jobs. An ideal candidate will have a strong problem solving ability, mechanical aptitude and the ability to excel in a time-sensitive environment. You will be trained on all necessary aspects of the job.

• Troubleshoot and repair issues in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Install, align, dismantle and remove mechanical equipment on vehicles, such as pumps, hoses, compressors, engines, tanks, according to layout plans using hand and power tools
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
• Perform service work on existing equipment including tear-downs and rebuilding
• Diagnose customer issues over the phone
• Estimate time, materials and costs associated with work to be performed
• Travel to other Spectra plants as required to perform PM and work on projects
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Skill Development

• Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment
• Basic electrical drawings
• Hydraulic schematics
• CAD bill of materials for machinery builds
• Fluid processing diagrams
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Ability to operate various power tools to assemble, cut, and sand components
• Keen attention to detail and tidiness
• Examine end product to ensure it meets quality standards and is aesthetically
