Position Summary:
Maintains the building in clean and orderly condition.
SHIFT: Sunday - Friday 8pm- 6am (10 hour shifts x 4 days a week )
Start time and shift may change based on business needs.
Some overtime may be required.
Salary based position: Around $40,000 Annually

Key Responsibilities:
-
Maintain the facility and associated paperwork to meet AIB and other food safety standards.
-
Sweep, mop, scrub and vacuum; may include hallways, stairs and office space within the distribution center.

Empty trash and garbage containers and cleans snow and debris from walkways and ramps
-
Perform inspections of cleaning equipment and reports findings.

Sort materials, such as waste, wood, paper or plastics into appropriate areas.

Operate plastic baler and waste-, cardboard- compactors.

Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as walk behind floor scrubber and ride on floor scrubber.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Skills & Competencies:
-
Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, dockstocker, pallet jacks, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.

Ability to work in all three zone environments such as freezer, cooler and grocery.

Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Ability to read and understand information on a Material Safety Data Sheet, and adhere to safety regulations and procedures.

Ability to work independently and within team environment.

Must be able to operate powered industrial vehicle (PIV), vacuum cleaner and other various types of equipment.
