Delco Forest Products is currently seeking one qualified and production conscious candidate to fill the Night Shift Supervisor position at the Sawmill, The successful candidate will be responsible for all activities on site during the Night Shift. This is a Management position with competitive salary and Medical benefits. Candidate must have supervisor experience and a good sense of responsibility and have the ability manage change in a fast pace Sawmill environment. This position will report Directly to the General Manager , Salary to be Negotiated depending on experience and qualifications , Post secondary education will be considered a asset . Only Candidates currently residing in Canada will be considered as we much fill position in a timely manner ,

Shift : Night Shift ( Monday-Thursday) 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM

Main Responsibilities include :

• Directly Supervise 40 employees
• Maintain Safety and Company policies
• Efficiently manage priorities
• Ensure production targets are met
• Ensures quality of product is maintained in keeping within cost and schedule
• Accurately monitor production performance and efficiency through out shift
• Appropriately reassign employees according to production needs
• Develop and monitor remedial action plan for poor performers
• Monitor employee and machine performance
• Foster a sense of community and respect among production and other management staff

Qualification :

• Three to Five years of previous supervisor experience in a similar environment
• Computer / Technological skills
• Mechanically inclined
• Proven ability for decision making under pressure
• Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Must be able to oversee and coach employees with proven Leadership skills
• Skilled trades certificate considered a strong asset (Industrial Mechanic / Millwright)
