Job Location: Moose Factory, Timmins, Kapuskasing, ON


Position Summary:

The Office Manager provides critical administrative coordination for the MCFN OPG partnership activities and all MCFN hydroelectric related activities including field monitoring, youth engagement, business support and participation, Elders engagement and affiliated committees.


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • College diploma in business administration or a related administrative services field, or 2 or more years’ experience within a similar role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the MCFN, its culture, values, and traditions
  • Knowledge/experience with accounting software (Sage, etc.)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with computer software, such as Microsoft Suite and other office technology. Knowledge of Sage ACCPAC would be considered an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and alone
  • Good time-management and prioritization skills.
  • Creativity in problem solving and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work overtime on evenings and weekends
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Experience maintaining the confidentiality of important documents
  • Experience with travel support and coordination
  • Ability to provide administrative support based on knowledge of requirements and self-directed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • G or G2 driver’s license

Salary: As per salary grid / Negotiable


Duration: Permanent with 3 months probation
