ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Ontario Drug Benefits ("ODB") Administrator role ensures the timely and accurate submission of manual claims forms to the Ministry of Long Term Care for Reimbursement. The role will require communication with the Ministry, Pharmacy and Finance to ensure submissions and payment in a timely fashion.

This is a part-time position working up to 20 hours per week. This position is fully remote.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Assisting with the manual claim submission process, including tasks such as uploading claims, logging rejections, and completing new claim forms
  • Dealing with patient drug PCard inquiries
  • Processing manual claim forms
  • Completing calls to the Ministry for missing PCards
  • Confirming ODB coverage with the Pharmacy when necessary
  • Generating resubmissions to the ministry of Long Term Care for processing and payment
  • Analyzing ONE MAIL rejections
  • Forwarding documents to the Pharmacy from the ONE MAIL account
  • Tracking missing and unpaid submissions
  • Monitoring the ONE MAIL inbox, distributing incoming communications, and uploading documents to Finance for review
  • Participating in processes relating to reconciliation of manual claims
  • Adhering to Bayshore policies and procedures
  • Maintaining confidentiality of client and corporate information, and discussing same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel
  • Completing other administrative tasks to support the team, as required.

Job Qualification

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • College diploma in administration, equivalent experience or currently acquiring a college degree
  • Basic understanding of drug reimbursement
  • Strong computer and software skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
  • Proven ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Strong sense of organization and attention to detail
  • Self-regulation of time management and the ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
