Batesville is looking for a Part Time Class 3 Truck Driver to join our team in Regina, SK. As a Driver you will be responsible for driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle in compliance with applicable federal and local laws and regulations as well as conducting warehouse duties.

What you'll do:

  • Warehouse work, load and unload new funeral caskets into and out of trucks, assemble MDF caskets, work with inventory, wipe down caskets, keep warehouse organized
  • Safely operate Commercial Motor Vehicles ranging from delivery van to straight truck
  • Deliver and unload new funeral caskets at funeral homes in a safe manner
  • Develop and nurture customer relationships
  • Effectively meet CSC and customer demands
  • Responsible for local operational performance in the following areas: DOT regulations, health and safety, vehicle inspection and maintenance, work standards, procedures and policies, and customer satisfaction
  • Other duties may be assigned

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year class 3 truck driving experience
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Clean Driver Abstract
  • Ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships
  • Must pass a vehicle road test
  • Ability to lift miscellaneous equipment and product weighing up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation
  • Team player and positive attitude!

Great to Haves:

  • 3 years of delivery experience
  • Warehouse experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience with computers
