Our customer is a large well branded Pharmaceutical company based out of Whitby and we are on the lookout for hard working and reliable individuals that are interested in working within their production facility packaging product. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a global pharmaceutical company and gain valuable work experience within a GMP environment.

Responsibilities:

· Working on a light packaging assembly line

· Packaging pharmaceutical product

· Utilizing packaging equipment

· Performing ad hoc general labor based tasks as assigned (light physical work)

Shift Details:

· Must be able to work 8 hr shift 5 days per week.

Shifts currently available: Straight Days: 6am-2:30pm Monday -Friday-eventually it will change to a Friday-6am-2:30pm, Saturday 6pm-6am, Sunday 6am-6pm and Monday 6am-2:30pm.

Qualifications:

· Prior work experience in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.

Must have a minimum High School Diploma and must be able to provide a copy of diploma.

· Education related to the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is nice to have

· Ability to lift up to 20 Ibs

· Able to perform light general labour

· Must own Safety shoes and be able to stand for extended periods of time

· Must be able to clear a criminal background check

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $17.25 per hour
