Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy Assistant
Home Care Position – Full Time and Part Time

Quinte and District Rehabilitation provides therapy for a diverse client population in their home settings. Our clients are located throughout Hastings and Prince Edward Counties (Belleville, Trenton, Brighton). We work collaboratively with clients and caregivers to deliver responsive, accessible, integrated, client centred care through the Home and Community Care Support Services program.
What you will do?
Under the supervision of the therapist, OTA and PTA interventions may include:
- · Stroke Rehabilitation
- · Functional mobility and transfer training
- · Home Exercise Programs (HEP) to improve balance, strength and ROM for function
- · Home safety, falls prevention and energy conservation education
- · ADL and IADL training to progress independence
- · Cognitive / perceptual home programs

Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate of a Physiotherapy /Occupational Therapist Assistant 2-year diploma program
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong clinical skills and client centred approach
- Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle and possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: On the road
