Are you looking to join a fast-growing and fast-paced e-commerce company and play a leading role in its day-to-day ecommerce operations?
foodiepages is hiring a full-time Gift Production Lead. The role focuses on both strategic and managerial execution of operations pertaining to custom gift fulfillment and e-commerce orders; with a large emphasis on custom gift projects. You will work closely with our Head of Operations; and after a training period, you run all gift production-related aspects of the business, leading at times a team packers to ensure all projects are packaged and shipped on-time, while meeting all expectations.

AVAILABLE POSITION:
Work Days: Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime hours weekdays and/or weekends depending on demand
As a gifting company, our holiday season (October 1 – December 31) is particularly busy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary role is assembling and shipping gifts, both from our consumer business and our corporate business. You must be organized, have a can-do positive attitude.
The role can be segmented into two types of work: in the warehouse and in the office (computer).
While in the warehouse, the successful candidate will:
- Pick, pack and ship orders with high level of accuracy and efficiency to meet deadlines
- Manage the production calendar for all gift boxes
- Conduct quality control for items prior to fulfillment
- Receive shipments of new products
- Organize inventory and communicate any updates or changes to Operations Lead
- Handle packages from small envelopes to boxes ranging up to 30 pounds
- Report supply shortages to Operations Lead
- Prepare and clean warehouse areas for following day shipments
- Support regular inventory counts as needed
While in the office, the successful candidate will:
- Handwrite and/or print gift messages for e-commerce orders
- Generate shipping labels for gift boxes
- Maintain knowledge of products & offerings
- Track customer shipments and proactively identify any shipping-related issues
- Monitor incoming inventory shipments to ensure inventory arrives on schedule
- Order and maintain inventory of office supplies/equipment
- Handle administrative responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Minimum of three-year experience in office administration and/or warehouse
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Strong communications skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous interruptions.
- Understand and utilize warehouse management software including but not limited to Shopify, Shipstation, and Google Docs
- Must have clear, neat handwriting (we offer handwritten notes)
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work
- Ability and willingness to fulfill the work required under tight deadlines
- Enjoys work as part of a small team and independently
- Willingness to learn and leadership potential
- Has background in warehouse supervision or lead hand an asset
- Ability to always maintain a professional and helpful attitude
- Must be able to lift somewhat heavy boxes (up to 30 lbs) occasionally to move around and organize inventory
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (4 hours+)
- Must arrive on time and clock in daily
