Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to organize and oversee the assembly of our medical device. They will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of the assembly and the quality of output.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the assembly and testing of our medical product
- Hands-on working with the technicians to assemble and test our medical product
- Plan and organize the production schedules and workflow to ensure they meet the required dateline
- Track and achieve KPI metrics for all Production processes
- Assess production resource requirements
- Develop and continuously analyze budget versus planned forecast and report monthly or as needed
- Develop and support assembly staff through training and coaching
- Ensure Health and Safety policies and regulations are followed
- Ensure of products meet our QMS standards
- Liaison with other departments including Customer Support, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Sales
- Assist Production staff in problem-solving and on-the-spot Production troubleshooting
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Five (5) or more years of production management or supervisory experience in the medical device industry
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Experience working in a quality management system (ISO 13485) an asset
