Job description
Entomo Farms is the world leader in insect farming for human consumption, supplying dozens of companies globally. We are looking for a motivated individual who is able to work well independently and with small groups of people. Our ideal candidate has strong leadsership, time-managment and organizational skills.
Position:
We are currently seeking an employee to work on our DAY shift (typically 8:30-5:00). Shifts will be 5-8 hours, 5 days per week. We are located in NORWOOD.

Position Summary:
Daily duties may include the following, depending on the production requirements of the day:
· Washing and traying crickets
· Loading and unloading trays of product from ovens
· Taking temperatures and moisture levels of the cooked product to ensure it meets CCP criteria
· Grinding and packaging of cooked product
· Sanitation and clean-up of tools and work area during and after processing is finished
· Packing product for customers
· Any additional tasks as required by Production Supervisor including general building sanitation
Position Responsibilities:
· Adhere to HAACP guidelines, BRC and GMP, following all SOP’s (standard operating procedures)
· Ability to respond to occasional non-standard situations with equipment
· Proactively make suggestions on ways to improve procedures
· Correctly complete paperwork
· Work in an efficient manner to complete the workload on a tight timeline
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: From $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Supplemental pay types:
