We are searching for an individual who shares those qualities. We help companies become more circular and navigate the waters of producer responsibility regulatory compliance.
You will be a spokesperson for our company’s producer responsibility organization, or PRO, services. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to achieve rapid market penetration within the producer responsibility and environmental compliance space in Ontario. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through rapid, targeted sales and forging strong relationships with clients. We are looking for a rare breed – an analytical, people person.
We are currently seeking the newly created role of Circular Economy and Program Manager, reporting to the Director of Operations and Compliance.

• Motivated by winning new business accounts
• Proven sales/business development and deal closure experience
• Able to create solutions for clients, employ out of the box thinking, and take the initiative
• Able to work effectively in challenging situations and to meet deadlines
• Proven success in achieving your KPI's and weekly, quarterly, and annual goals and
• Knowledge of Producer Responsibility policies and/or ESG frameworks and reporting

Position Description

• Responsible for business development and ongoing customer relationship management of electronic and electrical equipment, batteries, lighting, and hazardous and special products producer responsibility programs
• Develop custom solutions (e.g., circular economy) for producers that may or may not involve producer responsibility regulations
• Draft and negotiate agreements
• Create and oversee Ryse Solutions’ PRO reporting to clients

• Become a regulatory expert, providing technical guidance to clients

• Develop ESG calculator and reporting
• Create data collection, reporting, and workflows related to recycling supply chain
• Lead on Ryse Solutions Universal Portal (UP) development
• Lead the development and presentation of informative, compelling, and persuasive internal and client-facing presentations and collateral materials using but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

*Skills and Qualifications*

• BSc/BA in business administration, marketing, sustainability, or relevant field
• Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role
• Knowledge of producer responsibility and/or circular economy and/or ESG policies and frameworks
• Knowledge of retail, consumer packaged goods, restaurant, and/or e-commerce industries preferred
• Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation, presentation, planning, project management, and time management skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Interpret data and analyze trends
• Work with large amounts of data from multiple sources
• Proven project management experience
• Conduct business analysis, outlining business problems and opportunities
• Perform market intelligence research (competitive intelligence, market sizing/ forecasting
• Must be organized and have the ability to work under tight time constraints
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, work on multiple projects at once, and handle changing priorities
• Team-oriented personality

Pay: $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
