Reporting to the Digital Technology Manager, the Project Manager will manage and deliver our projects digital lifecycle within quality, time and budget requirements. The incumbent is responsible for preparing and presenting progress updates to appropriate management channels on a regular basis, ensuring the innovation we seek is being achieved. To succeed in this role, you are a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of how technology can help us achieve our business goals and are open to continuous evolution. You are methodical and have excellent time management skills. As a Digital project manager, you use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams. The ideal candidate will have production experience as well as strong work plan development and progress oversight skills.

HOW WILL YOU DO IT?

Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation

Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation

To coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project resources from various functional departments

Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements

Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.

Provide end-to-end project management

Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects

Structure and manage integrated, multi-track project performance databases for multiple digital projects, with an eye on overall progress

Develop and maintain partnerships with internal and external resourcesincluding third-party vendors and researchers

Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs

Report project outcomes and/or risks/issues to the appropriate management channels as neededescalating issues as necessary based on project work plans

Develops alternative courses of action and makes decisions based on logical assumptions that reflect factual information

WHO YOU ARE

This is what youve accomplished

Bachelors or Masters degree in IT, Computer Science, Digital Marketing or relevant field

7+ years of proven project management experience

Professional certificationincluding PMP/CSM/PMI-ACP/ITIL/Risk &Change Management

Proven project management experience in digital technologies, strong project management skills with the ability to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously

Hands-on experience with developing web technologies and software platforms for maximum usability

Experience coaching and educating project teams to strengthen team members capabilities and skill sets

Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinker, able to understand, analyze and synthesize complex business and technology problems and strategies

Proven success working with, ability to influence stakeholders/ all levels of management and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions

Familiarity with SaaS platforms, Shopify+, Google Suites, ERP systems and IT infrastructure

Solid technical background with an ability to address accessibility and compatibility issues

Excellent planning, organization, time management, Communication and team management skills

Strong working knowledge of relevant project management software, like MS Project, Trello, Jira, and relevant Google suites, Microsoft applications, including Visio

Ensure adherence to accepted project management frameworks and internal ITIL best practices

Proven leadership, negotiation and ability to influence, remain calm and maintain focus on sustainable results within the team

Strong project management skills and mastering execution of different phases of digital projects for scrum and/or agile projects

Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, people management and communication skills with good ability to deal with stakeholders, as well as technical and non-technical individuals

Results-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously with deep sense of prioritization and change management

Encourages and facilitates the transfer of information, experience, and technology both within and across project and departmental boundaries

Demonstrated ability to deliver under pressure while maintaining high standards of excellence and attention to detail

Dynamic, ability to work independently with limited direction in a changing environment and exercise sound independent judgment

Strong, effective and clear communication skills in French and English, with an ability to adjust messaging appropriate to the audience

Ideally you also have

Willing and able to travel within Canada & internationally occasionally.
