Project Manager - Restoration
National Franchise Property Restoration Company is expanding and looking for energetic and self-motivated employees to join our team.
WINMAR provides emergency and reconstruction services to homes, businesses, industrial and institutional properties after they have been damaged by fire, water, sewage, mould, asbestos, vehicle impacts, etc
You will be required to respond to emergencies on a 24 hour on call basis on a rotation schedule
Experience in project management is essential
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Initial customer contact within 30 minutes of and first customer visit within 24 hours
Dispatch emergency crews
Establish scope and standards of construction
Estimate equipment, manpower, cost and materials required using industry approved software (ie Xactimate)
Establishment of job priority based on general guidelines
Inspects buildings to determine work needed to maintain buildings to code and desired standards
Ensure all company protocol is followed
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: Able to interact, and effectively communicate (written and oral)
Proficiency in the use of common computer software packages
Proficient in Xactimate
Knowledge of building construction, materials and methods and codes
Knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building construction
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Project manager in the Restoration industry
Any Certification with the IICRC is an asset
